A fire produced a large smoke plume near East 48th Avenue and Colorado Boulveard in Denver early Monday.

DENVER — A fire at a recycling facility created a large smoke plume in the Denver metro area Monday morning.

The fire was located at a recycling facility near East 48th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard, near Interstate 70.

Video from SKY9 showed a pile of cardboard on fire at the property.
