MOSES LAKE (Dec. 3) — Feeder cattle this week: 4,000; last week: Holiday; last year: 2,764.
No trends due to the Thanksgiving holiday last week and market not reported. Trade slow to moderate with moderate demand. The feeder supply included 53 percent steers and 47 percent heifers. Near 92 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. Prices are FOB weighing point with a 1-4 percent shrink or equivalent and with a 5-10 cent slide on calves and a 3-6 cent slide on yearlings. Delivered prices include freight, commissions and other expenses.
FEEDER STEERS: Medium and Large 1-2 FOB prices: 600-650 lbs 115.00-118.00 ID-OR; 850 lbs 108.00-110.00 ID-WA. Future delivered prices: 850 lbs 110.00 for Feb-Apr. OR-WA.
