Shockers: Boys’ shooting falls short in loss
By Jim Rogers
The loss to Liberty Bell away on Dec. 11 was the Shocker boys’ second of the season in a game that was competitive.
The Shockers lost 45-34 and shot only 24 percent.
Coach Jody Flaget said, “We did a good job of entering the ball to our posts, but we struggled converting (the plays into points).
‘‘It was a very physical game. Liberty Bell was more physical than we were. Their physical (ability) was the difference. They had more offensive rebounds and extra possessions.
“It was a competitive game, and we will continue to improve as we move forward.”
Waterville will travel to Pateros on Friday and Manson on Saturday.
