Don and Mary Syth of Brewster will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a private family gathering in Mazama on Christmas.

Mary McFarland and Don Syth were married Dec. 24, 1960, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

The couple have lived throughout Montana and Idaho, Mansfield, Coulee City and the Bridgeport-Brewster area during their marriage.

They are the parents of a son, Mike Syth of Coulee City, and a daughter, Wendy Bilodeau of Ephrata.

He was a construction worker and retired as a farmer.

She is a transcriptionist in Brewster.

They have five grand-children and five great-grandchildren.
