East Wenatchee, harass/threat: An individual reported that someone had placed his name on Craigslist stating he was gay and had AIDS; Craigslist had been contacted and the posting was removed

East Wenatchee, suspicious: Juveniles were reported playing in a driveway; deputies couldn’t find the juveniles but neighbors told them that the kids had been playing a combat game with water balloons

East Wenatchee, harass/threat: A man complained he was receiving text messages making rude comments about his wife; deputies tried to call the number but the voicemail was not set up and the sender couldn’t be identified

Rock Island, juvenile problem: A man called to complain that his son, almost 15 years old, was refusing to obey the rules

Rock Island, suspicious: A train dropped off four cars south of the dam, caller thought it might indicate terrorist activity; deputies called Santa Fe Southern Railway and it was determined there was a work crew in the area

East Wenatchee, suspicious: A complaint was filed about a group of people who were outside and sounded like they might be fighting; deputies made contact with the individuals, they were just holding a dance

Bridgeport, vehicle theft: A report was filed that a 13 year old boy had taken the family car and drove off; state patrol found the boy driving the vehicle and he was returned home safely to his parents
Bridgeport, malicious mischief: A man reported that kids had thrown dirt into a fence post hole he had just dug

East Wenatchee, suspicious: 1700 block of Grant Road, report of two males walking up and down the street, men were contacted; they were walking a dog

Waterville, burglary: 400 block of E. Birch Street, report that the hasp of the door to a shed was removed, and a juvenile took some sage; thought it was marijuana
Aug. 21
East Wenatchee, lewd conduct: 2100 block of Sunset Highway, man standing in his doorway nude, deputies responded, man was sitting inside the house naked and they told him the neighbors complained
Sept. 3
Bridgeport, suspicious: Marina Park, caller thought his father was going to drown, then he thought he had been kidnapped, deputies responded and were unable to locate man; they spoke with people in the area, and no one saw anything suspicious; deputies later contacted the father, who stated all was a misunderstanding and apologized for the trouble

Waterville, burglary: 300 E. Locust Street, City Pool, storage shed entered; large roll of toilet paper taken out and partially burned

Bridgeport, suspicious: 300 block 7th Street, report of a male running into a vacant lot and hiding behind a bush; deputies found that the man was hiding from his girlfriend, who had found him with another woman
Oct. 1
Bridgeport Bar, miscellaneous: 100 block Arden Avenue, woman called to report that she had locked herself out of her home and she had to break a window to get in; she wanted the authorities to know that she did it herself
Oct. 14
East Wenatchee, animal problem: 1200 block of S. Quincy Avenue, caller complained about neighbor’s horse creating a lot of odor
Oct. 15
Waterville, theft: 100 block of W. Maple Street, caller complained about kids stealing an extension cord; a deputy made contact, the caller was intoxicated
Oct. 18
Rock Island, suspicious: Parkway Drive, vehicle parking in the area for two days in a row, caller thought it was weird; a deputy made contact, and it turned out driver was parking there to use unsecured wireless internet

East Wenatchee, harass/threat: 400 block of S. Kentucky Avenue, parents report that a couple of teenage girls are texting each other, and that the situation is getting out of hand

East Wenatchee, missing person: 2400 block of Highland View Drive, caller wanted to report husband missing; when deputy arrived, it turned out they’d had a dispute, and her husband left the house when she told him to get out
Oct. 26
Bridgeport Bar, animal problem: Gun Club Road and Highway 173, complaint about dogs running at large the day before, deputy was unable to find the dogs
East Wenatchee, suspicious: 3700 block of Airport Way, caller reported that her dog chased an unknown animal up a tree, the deputy found a raccoon in the tree when he arrived; in addition, caller reported hearing strange noises when she would sit down to work at her computer, the deputy had her duplicate the situation to try to track down the sounds, it turned out to be a stuffed animal in her pocket that would sing when squeezed
Nov. 5
Waterville, vehicle theft: First block of S. Division Road, caller reported the theft of a car-hauling trailer, but called back later to say it had been misplaced
East Wenatchee, suspicious: 1800 block of 4th Street S.E., Clovis Point Middle School, deputy investigated a vehicle parked in a no-parking zone, the license number on the plate belonged to a different vehicle and owner; the driver claimed that sometime during the previous six months someone had switched the license plates without his knowledge
Nov. 11
Bridgeport, recover stolen vehicle: 1400 block of Foster Avenue, a deputy observed a 1999 Chevy Malibu driving erratically on Highland Road, the plates came back as stolen; the driver, 16, of Othello, admitted he had taken the vehicle from his parents without permission and was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, obstructing, and no valid operator’s license

Waterville, disturbance: 600 block of N. Monroe Street, Fairgrounds, report that a man and his wife got into verbal dispute because the wife was dancing with someone else
Nov. 14
Bridgeport, theft: 1100 block of Columbia Avenue, Bridgeport Plaza Market, caller reported that two females, one male, entered the store, the store owner saw the male take three beers from the cooler and put them in his coat, but did not call the police; about two hours later, the females returned to the store and when questioned, refused to identify male; the owner provided video surveillance to the deputy for identification
Nov. 15
East Wenatchee, property: 200 block of 23rd Street N.E., a portable carport was blown into caller’s vehicle during the windstorm, damaging the left rear quarter panel and breaking the driver’s side window
Nov. 16
East Wenatchee, property: 2300 block of N. Baker Avenue, caller reporting that her carport blew away in the storm
East Wenatchee, suspicious: 1700 block of 10th Place N.E., caller reporting someone knocking on her door, but it turned out to be wind noise
Nov. 21
East Wenatchee, burglary: 100 block of N. Linden Lane, report of some items possibly missing from a shed; a deputy is investigating, and it appears it may be a case of renters at a neighboring property believing that the shed was on their land, and that the items in the shed were for their use
Nov. 22
Waterville, harass/threat: 200 block of E. Poplar Street, caller received what appeared to be a chain text claiming that the person who sent it was dead and would come back to haunt her
Nov. 23
East Wenatchee, disturbance: 2500 block of Norma Lane, caller accused neighbor of prowling his vehicle because footprints in the snow went to the neighbor’s house, it turned out that the neighbor was also a victim of prowling
Nov. 26
East Wenatchee, suspicious: 1800 block of 9th Street N.E., caller complaining she could see footprints in the snow that went to her PUD meter; the PUD confirmed that an employee had been reading meters in the area
Nov. 27
East Wenatchee, harass/threat: 2500 block of 11th Street S.E., caller received a prank phone call that also turned out to be a wrong number, deputy contacted the prank caller, turned out to be a teenaged male who thought he was pranking his uncle’s number
Nov. 30
Bridgeport, burglary: 1600 block of Fish Avenue, vacant apartment, intruders possibly got in through a rear window, appears they tried to force the front door open; a TV and Dish Network receiver were inside that didn’t belong there, the owner of items have not yet been located
Dec. 8
East Wenatchee, harass/threat: 40 block of 24th Street N.E., caller receiving phone calls from another individual accusing him of stealing his newspaper
Dec. 9
East Wenatchee, hazard: 300 block of Leslie Way, caller reporting a bag of leaves in the roadway, a deputy moved the bag out of the roadway

Bridgeport Bar, suspicious: 100 block of Arden Avenue, caller was gone for the day, when she returned, someone had moved her snow shovel
Dec. 19
Bridgeport, disturbance: 90 block of Dezellem Hill Road, 25-year-old male got irritated at his grandparents because they wouldn’t let him borrow a vehicle, he damaged a door in the residence in retaliation, he was arrested and jailed for malicious mischief
Dec. 20
East Wenatchee, harass/threat: 400 block of S. Kentucky Avenue, caller reporting that neighbors across the street were staring at him
Dec. 23
East Wenatchee, harass/threat: 400 block of S. Kentucky Avenue, caller complaining that the neighbor looked at him

East Wenatchee, suspicious: Pangborn Airport, caller saw a person get into the trunk of a vehicle in the parking lot, deputies located the vehicle and found a male in the trunk, said he was there to surprise someone arriving on a flight; when the flight arrived, deputies confirmed the vehicle owner knew the man

East Wenatchee, suspicious: 4000 block of 40th Circle N.E., caller reporting that she can hear someone walking around behind her house, a deputy responded and found eight deer in her backyard
