Things To Do
Dillon Amphitheatre is one of the most scenic stages in Colorado. The amphitheater is located in the mountain town of Dillon, just off I-70 north of Breckenridge. The closed-roof wooden bandstand is ringed by semicircular, tiered, hardscape seating down in front, an arc of green lawn spreading uphill behind the seats, and has enough room for crowds up to 5,000. Vistas of Lake Dillon sweep out beyond the stage and the rugged Tenmile and Gore mountain ranges loom in the distance. Dillon Amphitheatre hosts a free summer concert series (mostly Friday and Saturday evenings) from June through September, featuring an eclectic assortment of national touring acts in all genres.
