Red Rocks Amphitheatre has topped the outdoor music venue list so many times that it has become the standard against which Coloradans judge their concert experiences. In addition to the classic Morrison venue, we’ve also compiled a list of our other favorite outdoor music venues, and while they don’t compare in scale to Red Rocks’ natural acoustic wonder, their intimate atmosphere and beautiful scenery make these destinations ones that you’ll want to add to your list.

There’s no better way to end the workday then relaxing with a picnic on the lawn at this iconic Denver landmark. Since famed Denver architect Jules Jacques Benois Benedict built the Pavilion and Bandshell in 1929, they have been a gathering place for Denverites—a tradition that has continued with the annual City Park Jazz summer series.

This riverside inn and venue located northwest of Fort Collins has been a destination for music lovers since its inception in 1916. Jam bands and their fans flock to this out-of-the-way rustic stage each summer to enjoy the perfect combination of music and nature.
