In addition to the classic Morrison venue, we’ve also compiled a list of our other favorite outdoor music venues, and while they don’t compare in scale to Red Rocks’ natural acoustic wonder, their intimate atmosphere and beautiful scenery make these destinations ones that you’ll want to add to your list.

6. City Park Bandshell, 1770 York St., Denver

There’s no better way to end the workday then relaxing with a picnic on the lawn at this iconic Denver landmark. Since famed Denver architect Jules Jacques Benois Benedict built the Pavilion and Bandshell in 1929, they have been a gathering place for Denverites—a tradition that has continued with the annual City Park Jazz summer series.
