Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs is a family-friendly hot spring motel located in Ouray. The outdoor hot spring swimming pool and soaking pool and indoor whirlpool are for overnight guests only and clothing is required. Rooms include internet, satellite television, and refrigerators. You can hang out at the motel and lodge and take advantage of a free hot breakfast every morning, room service, a restaurant, fitness center, laundry, vending machines, shuffleboard, and a tiki bar, or walk a block to downtown Ouray for more food, brews, and entertainment. The pools provide stellar views of the Sneffels Range. Twin Peaks is a seasonal motel so call ahead for reservations.

Pro Tips

  • Independence Day is a popular time for hot springs and for Ouray. Book ahead and then enjoy the fireworks that light up the sky over the Amphitheater and echo through the Uncompahgre Canyon.
  • Ouray is the ice climbing mecca of Colorado and the annual Ouray Ice Festival attracts thousands of climbers from around the world. If you head to Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs in January, make sure to book early, make dinner reservations, and expect crowds at the local bars and eateries.
  • This commercial hot spring is convenient to the downtown area so you can shop, eat, and drink to your heart’s delight and walk back to your room without worrying about driving or parking. If you drink alcoholic beverages, do it after your hot soak to avoid sickness or accidents.
  • Recommended season(s): Year-round.
