Grouseberry Backcountry Campsite is located at 9,250 feet on a rocky mountainside north of North Inlet Trail and North Inlet Creek in Rocky Mountain National Park. The single campsite lies about 800 feet east of Six Mile Pond, a small lake above the creek. Reach the campsite by hiking 6.2 miles on North Inlet Trail from the trailhead by Grand Lake. The hike, gaining 710 feet of elevation, takes three to four hours from car to camp. Find the site by turning north at a wooden sign and following a short path. No privy is at the site so practice proper sanitation by using wag bags. Get water from the creek below, but boil or treat before use. The site is usually snow-free by June 12.
