Catch Him If You Can! 130+ Miles Per Hour Up Pikes Peak
Each year a race is held in Colorado Springs called the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, though locals refer to it as “The Race to the Clouds.” The latter of the two names might be most fitting, as participants in souped up automobiles blast 12 miles up to over 14,000 feet in around 10 minutes. It’s loud, it’s dangerous, it’s a rush.

While this race is only for some of the most skilled drivers in the world, the video below puts you in the passenger seat for one of the fastest attempts ever recorded reaching speeds over 130 miles per hour.
