How do these athletes practice snowboarding in the summer? Woodward maintains several summer parks made up of the leftover snow from winter. The park crew that maintains the terrain parks for Copper Mountain during the winter also maintain these smaller summer parks for as long as weather permits. However, most summer training takes place in the Barn, full of foam pits and practice ramps.

Visitors can find Woodward at Copper Mountain off of Exit 195 from I-70 West. Summer season passes start at $289.
