6 Awesome Colorado Geocaching Destinations

6 Awesome Colorado Geocaching Destinations

Geocaching, a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game, is a favorite activity of outdoor enthusiasts around the world. There are over two million active geocaches around the world, and Colorado is home to some of the most enjoyable places to geocache. To play, participants type in a particular set of coordinates into a GPS device, which they get from geocaching.com. They then navigate to that spot and log their find. If there is a treasure in the cache, the participant can take the treasure, but must leave something of equal or greater value for the next person to find. One of the greatest parts of geocaching in Colorado is the diversity of locations to find each cache. Here’s our list of 6 awesome Colorado geocaching destinations.
