Anti-Personnel Mine Near Colorado Springs was Real

An explosive device found Saturday near Fountain Creek was a real Claymore anti-personnel mine, Fountain police said Monday.
A citizen found the device shortly after 6 PM and brought it to the police. After it was determined to be real, Fort Carson military police took over the investigation.
Fountain police urged citizens to never touch a suspicious device, but to contact police immediately.
The Colorado Springs Regional Explosives United helped in the investigation.
