1. Shining Mountain Golf Course

Enjoy disc golf on two courses at Shining Mountain. The original 18-hole course, The Beast, is Colorado’s first permanent mountain disc golf course. After tackling The Beast, head deeper into the forest to experience Serenity Pines for more challenging shots around trees and inclines.

2. The Aviary

The Aviary is a newer edition to Colorado Springs disc golf courses. It offers golfers an 18-hole course with a variety of shot lengths and elevation changes. Dense wooded areas and Fountain Creek, which runs through the course, add difficulty.

3. Cottonwood Creek Park

Cottonwood Creek Disc Golf Course is a Colorado Springs favorite. It’s a great course for new and experienced disc golfers and offers a variety of short and long shots, clear and wooded fairways, and changes in elevation.

4. Widefield Park

Widefield Park is an 18-hole course that runs through a park with picturesque trees and a small brook. Don’t let the natural beauty fool you, the park offers a number of challenging longer shots. The park is bordered by residential houses, so keep track of your discs and take good aim!

5. Rampart Community Park

The Rampart Community Park offers disc golf enthusiasts an 18-hole course with a variety of difficult longer shots and challenging short throws. Direction signs and a trail lead golfers around the course.

6. Fort Carson

Located in the Fort Carson military base, this course is open to non-military (but bring along an ID to check in upon entering the base). Established in 2015, the Fort Carson disc golf course offers nine holes and impressive views of the surrounding Colorado Springs area, including Cheyenne Mountain. The course presents an entertaining challenge with a variety of elevation changes and difficult shots.
