1. Conundrum Hot Springs, Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness

If you are willing to make the trek, Conundrum Hot Springs near Aspen is an iconic destination for adventurous types. An 8.5-mile hike and 2,500 feet of elevation gain from the trailhead to the springs will be worth the effort for one of the more remote hot springs in Colorado.

2. Radium Hot Springs, Kremmling

Radium Hot Springs can be accessed from the Colorado River via watercraft or by foot on a one-mile hike. Once there, you will sit inches from the Colorado River in a hot spring with Rocky Mountain views only Colorado can offer.

3. Rainbow Hot Springs, Pagosa Springs

The remote Rainbow Hot Springs are accessed by a seven-mile hike if you are looking for some solitude (though these areas may be slightly crowded depending on the day).

4. Penny Hot Springs, Carbondale

Located on the Crystal River, the popular Penny Hot Springs are a great alternative for those who are not interested in resort-style hot springs.

5. Piedra River Hot Springs, Pagosa Springs
