Horse and buggy hit by pickup truck on rural Colorado highway

According to a Twitter post by the Alamosa branch of the Colorado State Police, a horse and buggy was hit by a pickup truck on Highway 370 near MP 2, which is located southwest of Alamosa. No one was injured. Read the full account of the incident below.

This is a situation that was bad, but could have been a lot worse. As you’re heading out on your adventure this weekend, remember this incident and use extra caution on the roads. While you probably won’t hit a horse and buggy, we’re getting into the time of the year when deer are most active – their mating season. It’ll last from late-October to January.
