Skier found dead at Keystone Resort
sboice
Last Saturday, a skier was found dead at Keystone Resort. The skier was found not breathing at the bottom of an intermediate run on North Peak. While it’s unclear what killed the skier at this time, it’s been said that there was no indication of a collision. The skier was pronounced dead at Keystone Medical Center.
While the skiers name was not released, he has been identified as a 52-year-old male from Arvada. A later announcement stated that a “serious medical incident” contributed to the death.
This is the 3rd on-resort death of the season, with two previous deaths being caused by collisions, including 21-year-old Daniel Giger who had an accident at Breckenridge and 26-year-old Bill Brockmuller who had a collision at Eldora.
