‘World’s Smallest Ski Resort’ for Sale in Colorado

Just how big is this hill? According to the official Facebook page for Sharktooth Ski Area, the resort has a single slope with a 1,000 foot run that travels from a summit elevation of 4,750 feet to a base of 4,600 feet. Other sources mention that the run is approximately 400 feet wide with a rope tow being the only access to the top unless you’re planning on skiing uphill.

You won’t find many leftover amenities though. This resort was only operational from 1971 to 1986.

According to the Zillow listing, the property encompasses 18.54 acres of mostly empty land with great views of Longs Peak and the Poudre River Valley.

Sure, 150 feet of skiing isn’t much to write home about. That being said, this is a much cheaper option than the $36 million Elk Island Ranch that was for sale a few months ago.
