The Breckenridge troll is officially coming back

Last October, a large wooden troll went viral in Breckenridge. This set off a chain of events that eventually led to the town council voting for the troll’s dismantling.

Months later, it has been announced that the troll, officially named Isak Heartstone, will be coming back. According to the official press release, artist Thomas Dambo is on contract and set to return to Breckenridge mid-May to rebuild his stunning creation.

There’s set to be an official open house to answer questions about the troll on March 4 from 6-7 at the Breckenridge Recreation Center. Here’s a post about it on the town’s  Facebook page.
