Denver to see first official snow of the season

Denver’s first official snow of the season is expected to fall between Wednesday evening and Thursday.
A 62-degree temperature swing is expected to make way into the Mile High City, delivering between 2 to 4 inches of snow from Wednesday evening into Thursday, October 9-10. Temperatures are predicted to shift from a high of 78 to a low of 16 – a sign that winter is well on its way.
According to the National Weather Service, a strong cold front moving into the state on Wednesday evening into Thursday morning will bring cool temperatures and heavy snow to the Front Range and Mountain Corridor. Some areas of the state could see up to 12 inches of snow.
