87-year-old hunter missing in Colorado mountains
An elderly man from Oklahoma is reportedly missing after vanishing on a family hunting trip over the weekend in Colorado, according to CBS Denver.
According to a report from KOCO News 5, Alvie Webb, 87, was dropped off Saturday morning at his hunting spot in an area of Dolores. He did not return that evening to the bottom of the hill to be picked up by his son. After searching the surrounding area for the missing elk hunter, his family contacted search and rescue for help.
The elk hunter has been missing for reportedly three nights and four days. There are still no signs of Alvie following intense search efforts consisting of search and rescue teams, drones, black hawk helicopters, and bloodhounds.
