This is the second all-terrain vehicle death to occur in Grand County in a little over a month. On September 23, a woman died following an accident in which she traveled 160 feet down an embankment on an ATV, colliding with a tree. The collision ejected her 100 feet from the vehicle. She was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. ATV malfunction may have been a contributing factor in her wreck.
