It was nearly 20 days ago that 87-year-old Alvie Webb of Muldrow, Oklahoma vanished in the mountains of Colorado without a trace.

Webb, who was on a family hunting trip, went missing on October 19 in the Divide Road-Roaring Fork area of the San Juan National Forest. Despite multi-day search efforts consisting of ground teams, drones, black hawk helicopters, and bloodhounds, there are still no signs of the missing hunter in Montezuma County.

Search efforts have been called off until more information is available or something is found, according to a report from the Sequoyah County Times.

According to his family, Webb had been hunting in that location for the last five years. His family contacted search and rescue when Webb failed to show up to the arranged meet up spot. There are few clues other than that the hunting party reportedly heard a gunshot at around 9:00 a.m, but no evidence has surfaced of a shot animal, according to a report from the Durango Herald.

Webb was last seen wearing an orange stocking cap and orange hunter vest over a camouflaged jacket. He had some difficulty walking, but was not expected to hike very far, as he only had limited supplies.
