Free Entry Days at Colorado’s National Parks in 2020

Colorado has something for every outdoor lover. It’s a place of scenic beauty that keeps your soul longing for adventure. Take advantage of these fee-free days at National Parks around the state of Colorado.

Here are the dates for National Park entrance fee-free days in 2020:

● Monday, January 20 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

● Saturday, April 18 – First Day of National Park Week/National Junior Ranger Day

● Tuesday, August 25 – National Park Service Birthday

● Saturday, September 26 – National Public Lands Day

● Wednesday, November 11 – Veterans Day

Colorado is home to four National Parks including Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Great Sand Dunes National Park, Mesa Verde National Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park.  Make sure to follow the core principles of Leave No Trace when it comes to exploring these iconic destinations.

Please Note: The entrance fee waiver for the fee-free days does not cover amenity or user fees for activities such as camping, boat launches, transportation, or special tours. If visiting out of state, please be aware of potential mountain dangers including wild weather, difficult terrain, and most importantly – altitude sickness
