Winter weather started to cause major problems on the Front Range last night, including one incident that involved more than 50 cars and multiple injuries in Denver.
This weather is part of a storm that has brought roughly 30 inches of snow to parts of Colorado. Early predictions on the Front Range of 1-2″ were surpassed following a night of icy rain, making roads especially slick.
If you must leave the house today, proceed with caution. Expect delays and poor driving conditions. Snow is likely to continue in Colorado Springs until noon. Similar weather will be present in Denver. With limited sunshine predicted through the rest of the day, roads could stay bad for some time.
