Authorities hunt for vandals after odd graffiti found in multiple Colorado parks

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a vandalism spree that took place in multiple parks near Denver, Colorado.

Editor’s Note: Any potential meaning of the graffiti has not been confirmed by law enforcement. More on that below.

Scenes of graffiti reading “ZOGS,” along with other phrases, were discovered in recent days throughout several parks in Littleton including Easton Regional Park, Powderhorn Park, and the Ridge at West Meadows Park. Rocks, parts of trails, basketball courts, a portable toilet enclosure, and other areas in the parks were found covered in graffiti.

While the meaning behind the graffiti is unclear, the singular term “ZOG” may have White Nationalist ties as an acronym. Urban Dictionary defines the term “ZOG” as a “White Nationalist acronym” meaning “Zionist Occupied Government.” This term also has other meanings which can be seen here. Any potential meaning of the graffiti has not been confirmed by law enforcement.
