Shots fired over dog poop, authorities hunt for suspect in Colorado

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is hunting for a man that fired shots at a person walking their dog on Tuesday night in the Denver metro area.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the victim was walking his dog when he encountered the soon-to-be shooter. The two began to argue about picking up dog poop and the suspect pulled a gun and fired shots. The shooter missed his target and no injuries were reported, but the Sheriff’s Office temporarily issued a “shelter in place” for the surrounding public.
Information about whether or not one of the involved parties had not picked up their dog’s poop was not included in the released information. According to 9NEWS, one legal responsibility of a dog owner in Colorado is picking up pet waste in public areas.
