In the most recent update from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), it has been  reported that 2,307 cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Colorado. This is an additional 246 cases compared to yesterday. Prior days, the following number of cases were added in the daily report: 327 cases yesterday; 304 cases Friday, 344 cases Thursday; 174 cases on Wednesday; 192 on Tuesday; 129 on Monday.

Throughout the state, 326 individuals have been hospitalized and 47 COVID-19-related deaths have occurred, with three added to that list in the latest daily report. There have been 14,470 people tested, with the virus found in 46 of Colorado’s 64 counties. The report also made a point to mention that 10 outbreaks had occurred in residential and non-hospital care facilities. Note that CDPHE updates are  reported a day late.

Gunnison, Eagle, and Pitkin counties have the highest rate of infection, with 460.02, 340.85, and 151.02 cases per 100,000 residents, respectively. Denver County has an infection rate of 56.84 per 100,000 residents and El Paso County has an infection rate of 29.96 per 100,000 residents.

When it comes to sex, male residents of Colorado have accounted for 47.42% of cases and female residents have accounted for 52.06% of cases, with .52% of cases unknown.
