5 fourteeners known for delivering beautiful views of Colorado

You’ll find good views on every fourteener, provided wild weather isn’t getting in the way. That being said, here are a few fourteeners known for the scenery hikers pass along the way, as well as the view that’s found at the summit.

You don't even need to hike to soak in the good views surrounding MOUNT EVANS. A massive peak among other massive peaks, people have the option of hiking to the top of this summit or simply taking the highway (provided it's open). From the summit, views of the Collegiate Peaks and Buena Vista offer a bit of variety. The tallest peak in one of the country's most stunning national parks, the LONGS PEAK summit provides a view of Rocky Mountain National Park unlike any other. Plus, hikers on this long and difficult trail will pass through a variety of terrain. And don't forget about Chasm Lake.
