You’ll find good views on every fourteener, provided wild weather isn’t getting in the way. That being said, here are a few fourteeners known for the scenery hikers pass along the way, as well as the view that’s found at the summit.

A massive peak among other massive peaks, people have the option of hiking to the top of this summit or simply taking the highway (provided it’s open). If you opt to hike, you’ll pass a stunning lake, stretching fields of tundra, stunning wildflowers (depending on the season), and epic cliffs.Photo Credit: Shogun_X.With a trail that starts in the forest and climbs to a number of steep switchbacks, MOUNT YALE is one fourteener climb that’s unforgettable. From the summit, views of the Collegiate Peaks and Buena Vista offer a bit of variety. Plus, hikers on this long and difficult trail will pass through a variety of terrain. And don’t forget about Chasm Lake.
