Man dies in shooting in Colorado Springs dog park lot

A male died Thursday afternoon in a shooting in the parking lot of the Bear Creek Dog Park on Colorado Springs’ west side, police said.
No arrests have been made, and police Sgt. Ryan Jacobsen said there was no danger to the public.
Jacobsen did not elaborate on the circumstances of the shooting just before 2 p.m. Hours alter, the parking lot off 21st Street was blocked off, but the dog park had not been evacuated.
No other information was immediately available.
