Here’s a look at the current status of COVID-19 in Colorado, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). This report was updated around 4 PM on Tuesday, September 1.
People Tested: 714,501; Roughly 12.5 percent of the state’s 5.7M population
Cases: 53,878 confirmed, 3,897 probable = 57,775; 7.5 percent of people tested resulting in confirmed case
Total hospitalizations: 7,053; 13 percent of all confirmed cases
Deaths: 1,946 (1,598 directly related to COVID-19); 3 percent of all confirmed cases (directly related deaths)
