Video of a moose going on a wild rampage in Colorado has gone viral on social media.
The footage shows a bull moose repeatedly ramming its antlers into the passenger’s side of a black sedan parked along a road in Boulder County. While honking eventually scared the moose away, there was some damage.
Chris Devlin captured the wild moment on video, leaving behind a note for the driver explaining the attack.
During the fall rut season, bull moose can become very unpredictable and often aggressive. This video demonstrates why it’s best to always give wildlife their space.
Weighing up to 1600 pounds and charging at speeds of 35 mph, agitating a moose can have dangerous and deadly consequences.
Editor’s Note: Never get too close to a moose. If it attacks you, run or try to place a large object like a tree or rock between you and the moose. In any situation, do your best not to disturb wildlife and always keep your distance..
