The Denver Police Department reported two separate double shootings over the weekend, with four victims ending up hospitalized from their injuries.
On Saturday, two people were shot in the 12200 block of East 52nd Avenue, blocks from John Amesse Elementary School. Police announced the shooting at 10:36 p.m.
The victims were taken to a hospital with nonlife-threatening injures, police said.
On Sunday, two more people were shot in the 1700 block of Champa Street near the Magnolia Hotel. Police announced the shooting at 12:08 a.m.
The victims were taken to a hospital.
Police said all four victims are expected to survive.
No arrests have been made. Police said there is no suspect information available in either shooting.
The circumstances surrounding the shootings are unclear.
