Local law enforcement is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who is accused of robbing two banks with a gun since July.
The suspect was described by police as a medium to heavy built white man, 6-foot-1 in his 20s or 30s.
The man is suspected of robbing MidFirst Bank in the 100 block of North Cook Street in Denver on Oct. 9.
Police said he robbed the bank in a “take-over” style, and was armed with a gun.
On July 24, the same bank was robbed by a person with a matching description and in the same “take-over” style, according to police.
Metro Denver Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest, and MidFirst Bank will pay an additional $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
