Deputies look for suspect who burned down 5 port-a-potties in Jefferson County

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the person responsible for burning down multiple port-a-potties.

On Friday, the office reported at least five port-a-potties were burned and melted down at a tennis court in south Jefferson County.

In addition to property destruction, this crime violates the county’s Stage 2 fire ban which prohibits building, maintaining, attending or using any fire.
