Man arrested in connection to an August homicide in Pueblo
Law enforcement have served a warrant to a man suspected of slaying Michael Hunt earlier this year in Pueblo.
Pueblo Police Department officers traveled to Jefferson County Jail on Friday and served a warrant for first-degree murder to Michael Anthony Stratton, 39, according to a media release.
Stratton was being held in Jefferson County on several unrelated charges
On Aug. 30, authorities found 39-year-old Michael Hunt dead in an alley of 200 S. Union in Pueblo.
“Detectives relentlessly pursued leads and evidence in this case to arrest Stratton for the murder of Michael Hunt,” the release said.
Stratton remained in Jefferson County Jail as of 6 p.m. Saturday, according to the jail’s inmate roster.
