Colorado Supreme Court says February bar exam will happen remotely
The Colorado Supreme Court announced the February 2021 bar exam will be administered remotely because of COVID-19.
This is the first time that the content of the “Uniform Bar Exam” has been offered remotely and will be administered in most states on Feb. 23 and 24, according to a release.
Applicants will be able to take the exam online through a computer with video capability and an internet or Wi-Fi connection.
Traditionally, the exam is administered with all students in a singular room, but because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the recent spike within the state, it will transition to a remote test.
The Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel and the Office of Attorney Admissions are currently in single sessions with other states that administered a shorter bar exam remotely last month.
Officials say there will be specific guidance and rules announced within the coming weeks.
