An overnight shooting in the Cheesman Park neighborhood left one wounded, the Denver Police Department said Friday.

The shooting happened in the 1100 block of East Colfax Avenue, not far from the popular Voodoo Doughnut shop. Police announced the shooting at 12:36 a.m. Friday.

Police said the victim suffered serious injuries that appeared to be nonlife-threatening.

The victim is expected to survive.

No suspect information is available at this time. No arrests have been made.
