Aurora Police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital Friday night.

According to a tweet from the police department, officers responded to a report of shooting at 16000 E. Rice Circle on Aurora’s southern side around 9:45 p.m. 

Authorities say a man was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive. 

No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting, but authorities say a person of interest has been identified.
