A road rage incident in Aurora resulted in a fatal shooting Monday morning, according to the Aurora Police Department.
The shooting happened at 11:40 a.m. at the intersection of East Yale Avenue and East Brown Drive, police said.
Police found an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound at the scene. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators concluded the shooting began as a road rage incident. A person of interest has been identified, police said.
The identities of the victim and person of interest have not been released.
The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
