Law enforcement officials are asking for assistance from the public regarding a homicide on Tuesday.
Mark Austin, 55, was assaulted near East 29th and Delgany streets on the northern edge of the Five Point and Globeville neighborhoods, around noon on Tuesday, the Denver Police Department said.
Austin died as a result of the injuries suffered from the assault.
Authorities are encouraging anyone with information about the incident to contact Denver Metro Crime Stoppers immediately at 720-913-7867.
