The man found fatally shot in an alley Monday, blocks from Skinner Middle School in Denver, was identified Friday.
The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner identified Jordan Patterson Jr., 30, and said he died from a gunshot wound, officials said.
Patterson was discovered in an alley in the 4000 block of North Grove Street in Denver’s Berkeley neighborhood Monday.
Authorities said they were investigating the homicide shortly after 8 a.m., after initially calling it as an outdoor death.
After discovering the victim had been shot, the investigation was switched to a homicide.
