An eclectic dining spot in downtown Colorado Springs, Shuga’s Restaurant & Bar came up with a creative solution when dining inside was prohibited due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Shuga’s constructed a tipi-style enclosure that’s large enough for several socially-distanced tables, complete with heating. The tipi-style space has an open door and an open top to allow for air flow.

Seating in the tipi can be reserved by phone. Dining on the surrounding patio is also an option.

Shuga’s is among the favorites of the downtown Colorado Springs dining scene thanks to their diverse food menu and a creative cocktail list. One of their most popular items is the ‘spicy Brazilian coconut shrimp soup,’ complete with jalapeño, peanut ginger, and black sesame.

Shuga’s is open daily Find out more about dining here on the Shuga’s website or Facebook page.
