Aurora Police are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital Saturday morning.

Officials say the victim was sitting in a vehicle in the 15900 block of East 13th Place when he was shot shortly before 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

After being shot, the victim, drove to a parking lot in the 15500 block of East Colfax Avenue where he met police and emergency medical services personnel.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.

Currently there is no suspect and investigators are trying to determine the motive, officials said.
