A man was shot in the hand Sunday night in the Civic Center neighborhood, the Denver Police Department announced.
The shooting happened near West 11th Avenue and Acoma Street, police said, blocks from the Denver Art Museum and History Colorado Center.
Police announced the shooting at 9:15 p.m.
The victim was taken to a hospital to treat the gunshot wound to the hand. He is expected to survive, police said.
No arrests have been made. No suspect information is available.
