Man stabbed to death outside gas station Thursday night
Westminster Police are searching for suspects in the fatal stabbing a man while leaving a gas station Thursday evening.
The victim was described by officers as being in his early 20’s but other information is not being released at this time, said Trevor Materasso, a public information officer for the WPD.
Shortly before 6:30 p.m. Thursday, officers were dispatched to a Circle K at 7584 Sheridan Boulevard after learning of a stabbing.
Officers found the victim and transported him to a nearby hospital where he later died.
Officials say the confrontation could be gang related.
Witnesses told investigators that the suspects fled in an unknown vehicle. As of Friday morning, Materasso said, investigators are “narrowing down the possible vehicles.”
Officials from WPD are asking anyone with information regarding the stabbing to contact the department at 303-658-4360.
