DPS offering free COVID-19 testing to students, staff

Officials from the Denver Public School District announced Thursday that all students and staff can receive a free COVID-19 test before students return to class on Monday.

After the initial test is administered, students and staff have the opportunity to be tested bi-weekly for the remainder of the school year, officials said.

Several testing sites around Denver have been set up at school grounds including the Montbello Campus, Abraham Lincoln Campus, North High School, All City Stadium and George Washington High School.

An update-to-date list of testing sites can be found online.

Families interested in registering to be tested can do on the school district’s website.

Tests will be completed through nasal PCR tests and the results will be returned within 36 to 72 hours.
