Douglas County opens small business relief program for local businesses

In an attempt to relieve some financial strain on businesses impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, Douglas County is taking applications for a new Small Business Relief Grant program.

Restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries, distilleries, caterers, movie theaters and fitness and recreation centers that generate less than $2.5 million are eligible for the program.

Each establishment must be located within Douglas County.

Recipients will receive anywhere between $3,500 and $7,000 that will be based on sales or revenue from 2019.

Applications opened Friday afternoon and will close at 5 p.m. on Jan. 29.

Interested businesses can apply on Douglas County’s website and anyone with questions is being asked to email [email protected] or call 303-660-7460.
