Denver weather: Strong winds Thursday, breezy Friday
Thursday is expected to be much cooler and windier in Denver, the National Weather Service in Boulder predicts.
Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 41 degrees with sunny skies and winds between 18 and 22 mph with gusts as high as 34 mph, the agency said.
Overnight temperatures are expected to drop to a low of 21 degrees with mostly clear skies and gusty winds between 10 and 13 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.
“The cool weather trend will continue for the rest of the week and the weekend,” Denver Gazette news partner 9News reported. “Denver’s next chance for flurries or light snow arrives on Saturday.”
The rest of the week’s temperatures will hover in the 40s with partly cloudy skies, the weather service projects. Higher chances of snow arrive Monday.

Friday: Sunny with a high near 47 degrees. Breezes between 10 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 22 mph.
Saturday: Partly sunny with a high near 46 degrees and light, variable wind between 5 and 7 mph in the morning.
Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 48 degrees.
Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 45. A chance of snow, mainly after noon.
