Deputies from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an overnight shooting that sent one person to the hospital.

According to a Facebook post by the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the 8300 block of Ogden Street in Denver, which is in the southern jurisdiction of Adams County, around 4:30 a.m. Saturday.

Deputies located one victim with a gunshot wound who was transported to a nearby hospital.

The extent of the injuries was not released and attempts to reach the sheriff’s office were unsuccessful.
